Looking the Part

Nearly time to start our walk but as you can see from the ground not much sign of spring yet! Looking forward to starting but 180 miles sounds further now!

The Planning Stage

So the idea is simple - walk the length of the Thames Path (not all at once, though) to raise money for Helpachild, a charity which sponsors children in the town of Grandcess in Liberia to go to school.
We've got all spring and summer to do this, mostly on the weekends and it is about 180 miles in total - no trouble! Well so it seemed to us, Catherine and Angela, over a glass of wine and sitting in a comfy lounge.
